Banyan Tree's Asian-spa heritage shows in the Rainforest Spa, which is one of the most architecturally distinctive spas in Mexico — a hydro-thermal circuit through stone steam caves and a glass-walled relaxation pavilion in the mangrove. Saffron and the Cantonese restaurant Cha bring serious pan-Asian cooking, unique among Riviera Maya resorts. The beach is shared with Rosewood and Andaz (Mayakoba reciprocity) and equally sargassum-protected.
