Twenty-one rooms only, all individually decorated; the public rooms (drawing rooms, library, billiards room, Music Room) are in the original castle interiors with original Victorian fireplaces, paintings, and tartan-upholstered armchairs. The honeymoon proposition has two elements unique to Glenapp: the walled Victorian kitchen garden (the kitchen sources from it daily, and guests are invited to walk it before dinner), and the private Glenapp yacht for half-day or full-day cruises to Ailsa Craig (the granite island three miles offshore from which all curling stones are quarried) — a genuinely original honeymoon experience that no other Scottish hotel offers.
