Olive Exclusive is the obvious gateway hotel for a Namibia honeymoon — a polished, only-seven-suite boutique tucked into the leafy Klein Windhoek suburb, 20 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport and a quick drive to the bush plane charter terminal. Each suite is named after and decorated in the spirit of a Namibian region (Caprivi, Damaraland, Kalahari, Kavango, Kunene, Skeleton Coast, Sossusvlei) with art and textiles from that area; the Sossusvlei Suite, for example, is washed in apricot and rust tones with photography of the dunes, while the Caprivi Suite leans green and tropical. All seven have a private terrace, walk-in shower, and full-size tub. The hotel is built around a low-slung pool deck shaded by olive trees, with a small spa treatment room, a serious art collection, and a 16-cover restaurant that is consistently among Windhoek's best dinners.
