Arrive at North Eleuthera Airport and take the short water taxi (10 minutes) across the harbor to Harbour Island. The arrival at Briland's pink-painted dock, with the village's British colonial houses and bougainvillea-lined lanes visible immediately, is one of the Caribbean's most charming hotel arrivals. Golf cart transfer to Pink Sands Club through the quiet village streets.

The Pink Sands beach is as extraordinary in reality as it looks in photographs — a 5km arc of rose-tinted sand curving around the Caribbean coast of Harbour Island, consistently rated one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Pink Sands is a boutique hotel rather than a luxury resort — the rooms and grounds are beautiful but the spa, dining, and facilities are at a smaller scale than a large Caribbean resort.
