Ninamu is the most extreme and most romantic honeymoon option in all of French Polynesia — an 8-bungalow private motu resort on the Tikehau atoll, completely off-grid, no Wi-Fi, no phones, no televisions, no other guests beyond 15-16 people at capacity. Owned by the Fabre family (Tahitian/French), the resort is built from coral stone, driftwood and thatched pandanus — handmade by the family and local craftsmen. The pink-sand beach wraps the motu, the reef is ten steps from your bungalow, and the lagoon is the densest in fish per cubic meter in French Polynesia (literally scientifically measured). Meals are served family-style at communal tables, cooked fresh daily by the team, and the all-inclusive package covers food, drinks, most excursions (snorkeling with mantas, coral garden drift, bird island), diving (on-site dive center is world-class), kite surfing lessons, paddleboards, kayaks, and sunset cruises.
