There are no shared excursions, no fixed group departures, no 'today the bus goes to Grey Glacier' rhythm. There are only twelve villas and all are essentially identical in size and design — large standalone wooden cabins with a wood-burning stove, freestanding bathtub, king bed facing the panoramic window, and a covered terrace with private outdoor hot tub. Request a villa at the southern end of the property (villas 10-12) for the most uninterrupted Paine massif sightlines and the maximum distance from the main lodge. Newlyweds are usually placed in one of these naturally.

Fly Punta Arenas (PUQ), private 4.5-hour transfer to Awasi. Welcome cocktail and dinner at the main lodge, where your private guide joins you to plan the next morning over a glass of Carménère — what you want to see, what excites you, what your fitness is for hiking.
Base Torres — Your Way
Your guide drives you privately to the trailhead at the time you choose (typically 7am for the best light). The 19 km return hike to the granite towers base lagoon is paced entirely to you, with snack stops at viewpoints your guide knows. Return for an afternoon in the private hot tub.
Grey Glacier Catamaran
A full day west across the park to the catamaran on Lake Grey for the calving glacier face. Awasi's private 4×4 means you bypass the day-tripper coach park; lunch is a packed gourmet hamper served at a viewpoint your guide selects. Optional add-on: a glacier kayak among the icebergs.
Wildlife & Estancia Day

Awasi is priced at roughly 1.5×-2× Tierra and Explora — the private guide and 4×4 model is genuinely transformative, but it is a significant investment compared to the all-inclusive group format.
There is no spa pool, sauna, or wellness centre — each villa has a private outdoor hot tub and in-villa massage is bookable, but if dedicated wellness facilities are important, Tierra or Explora may suit better.
Twelve villas means only 24 guests when full; this is the appeal, but introverts should know the main lodge dining is shared and intimate by design.

Is Awasi worth the premium over Tierra or Explora?
If the private guide model and the most exclusive experience matter — and the once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon budget supports it — yes. The freedom to set your own schedule, the ability to hike with a guide who has come to know your pace by day three, and the off-the-tourist-rhythm itinerary are genuinely different from the group format.
How many nights minimum?
Awasi requires a 4-night minimum. Most honeymoon stays are 4 or 5 nights — beyond that, couples typically combine with Argentine Patagonia (El Calafate / El Chaltén) or a separate lodge for variety.
When to go?
Open October to April. The window is the same as Torres del Paine generally — December-February peak, March quieter and golden, November shoulder-season value.
What's included?
Truly everything except the Punta Arenas flight: all meals, full open bar including the wine cellar, your private guide and 4×4 throughout the stay, every excursion, in-villa massage on request (one per stay typically), and round-trip Punta Arenas transfers.
How do we get there?
Santiago (SCL) → Punta Arenas (PUQ) on LATAM or Sky Airline, 3.5 hours. Awasi arranges a private 4.5-hour transfer to the estancia. Plan an overnight in Santiago at each end of the trip to absorb international flight connections.
Are pumas really on the property?
Yes — Awasi sits in a known puma corridor and resident female pumas have been tracked on the estancia for years. Sightings are not guaranteed but Awasi's specialist puma-tracking guides have one of the highest success rates in Patagonia. Dawn and dusk drives are the best opportunities.
