Le verdict
Cela vaut-il le coup pour votre voyage de noces ?
Forte Village is not really a hotel — it is an 80-acre private resort village on Sardinia's south coast containing eight different hotels and several private villas, a thalasso spa that has won World's Best 20+ times, a full kilometer of Mediterranean beach, and more restaurants than many small towns. For honeymooners, the strategy is to book at one of the couples-oriented hotels within the resort (Villa del Parco, Hotel Castello, or the Villas) and use it as a base for the island. It is more family-skewed in August than Costa Smeralda, but the sheer scale of wellness facilities and the value (roughly half of Porto Cervo rates) make it a serious contender for a longer, slower honeymoon.

Itinéraire de 7 nuits pour votre voyage de noces
Arrival and thalasso orientation
Fly into Cagliari Elmas and transfer 50 minutes south to Santa Margherita di Pula. Villa del Parco check-in, private garden aperitivo, and a first dip in the adults-only pool before dinner at the hotel's terrace restaurant.
Full thalasso day
Breakfast, then the famous 6-pool thalasso circuit with progressive salinity — designed to relax muscles and improve circulation. Long seafood lunch at Bellavista, afternoon couple's treatment, quiet dinner at Belvedere.
Beach day and sunset sail
Hotel shuttle to the private beach for the morning, lunch at La Barca beach club, sunset catamaran cruise along the Pula coast with aperitivo on board.
Cagliari day trip
Drive to Cagliari (50 min) for a morning walking the Castello district, lunch at Luigi Pomata for seafood, afternoon at the Bastione San Remy viewpoint. Return for spa and dinner.
Chia Beach and nuraghi
Drive west along the coast to Spiaggia di Tuerredda (arguably the most beautiful beach on the south coast), swim and lunch at the beach bar, visit the Nuraghe Seruci archaeological site on the way back.
Private-chef dinner in the garden
Slow day: beach, pool, spa. Forte Village arranges a private chef dinner with wine pairings either in a secluded corner of the gardens or on your villa terrace — a honeymoon highlight.
Last breakfast and departure
Late breakfast, final thalasso circuit, and the car to Cagliari airport (50 min). Many couples extend with a night in Alghero or inland at a Gallura agriturismo.
Évaluation honnête
Ce qu'il faut savoir avant de réserver
Forte Village is genuinely family-heavy in July and August — pick Villa del Parco specifically, and ideally come in June or September for the calmest honeymoon experience.
Eight hotels sharing one resort means navigating shuttles and buggies — the scale surprises some couples. Print the map on arrival.
It is on the south coast near Cagliari, not the Costa Smeralda — don't expect the same pink-granite dramatic scenery as the north.

Subject: Honeymoon booking inquiry — Forte Village Resort Buongiorno, We are planning our honeymoon for [DATES] and would love to stay 7 nights at Forte Village. Our preference is Villa del Parco & Spa for the adults-oriented atmosphere. Could you please send best-available rates for a Deluxe Suite, plus a comparison with a one-bedroom Forte Village Villa? Also: 1. Is unlimited access to the Acquaforte thalasso circuit included, or billed separately? 2. Do you have a honeymoon package (champagne, private chef dinner, couple's spa treatment)? 3. Can you arrange the sunset catamaran sail and a private-chef dinner in the gardens? 4. Are any restaurants within the resort restricted to certain hotels, so we understand which we can access as Villa del Parco guests? Grazie, [Your names]

FAQ
Questions fréquentes
Which hotel inside Forte Village is best for a honeymoon?
Villa del Parco & Spa is adults-oriented with its own pool and calmer atmosphere. The standalone Forte Village Villas give maximum privacy. Avoid the family-focused Hotel Le Dune unless budget is a driver.
Is the thalasso really worth it?
Yes. The 6-pool progressive salinity circuit at Acquaforte Spa is the single best wellness experience in Sardinia and arguably in Italy — allow at least two full sessions during your stay.
Is it adults-only?
No. Villa del Parco skews adult, and some restaurants are reserved for guests of that hotel, but children are part of the wider resort. Shoulder season is markedly quieter.
Which airport should we fly into?
Cagliari Elmas (CAG) is 50 minutes away. Olbia is on the opposite (north) end of the island — about 3 hours by car.
Is the food scene good?
Very — there are over 20 restaurants within the resort, several with Michelin-starred consulting chefs. Book the best tables (Belvedere, Bellavista, the Japanese restaurant) on arrival.
Best time to go?
May, June, and September. July-August is peak and family-heavy; October the sea is still warm but some restaurants close.
