Ierapetra town is a working agricultural town, not a postcard village — the resort itself is the destination, and the surrounding area is not the Cretan picture-postcard.
Rates are not all-inclusive; the five restaurants run €70–€140 per couple per dinner. Budget realistically for full board across seven nights.
