Khwai Private Reserve game viewing shifts with the seasons — May to September is the dry, high-predator window, while October to April is greener and wetter with newborn wildlife and dramatic skies; both seasons work, they just deliver different experiences.
This is a malaria region — consult your travel doctor about prophylaxis, bring DEET and long sleeves for dusk and be prepared for normal bush-camp insect life, including tsetse flies on some parts of the reserve.
