It is the most honest agricultural-tourism experience in Tasmania — Tim and Jane Parsons have run the family farm here for four generations, and guests get a genuine working-farm-stay experience (sheep shearing demonstrations, optional, are extraordinary) rather than a packaged-rustic luxury aesthetic. The cottages are simple but immaculate — king bed, log fire, full kitchen, deck overlooking the dam where you can swim in summer. Breakfast hampers delivered to the cottage.
