Cambridge Beaches is the oldest cottage colony on Bermuda — open since 1923, occupying a private 30-acre peninsula at the western tip of the island in Sandys Parish, with five private beaches around its own coastline and a resolutely adults-only policy that makes it the most natural honeymoon address on Bermuda for couples who want quiet, intimacy, and a complete absence of children. The accommodation is the antithesis of the modern hotel: 94 pastel pink and lemon Bermudian cottages and suites scattered across the peninsula, each freestanding, many with private terraces directly above the water, all with the white-stepped limestone roofs and louvred shutters that define the island vernacular.
