How do we get to Txai?
Fly into Ilhéus (IOS) — there are connections from Rio, São Paulo and Salvador. The hotel arranges a one-hour private transfer from the airport. Some couples connect through Salvador for the night and continue the next day.
Is the beach swimmable?
Yes — the long stretch of Itacarezinho is gentle on most days, with stronger surf at the breaks slightly offshore. The hotel also has a beautiful infinity pool above the sand.
